PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum is a gentle chemical exfoliant for the lips formulated with 5% gluconolactone and 1.5% alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to help smooth and hydrate the lips.

WHAT IT DOES
Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that helps dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells. Due to their larger molecular size, PHAs work primarily on the surface of the skin, providing gentle exfoliation and making them suitable for sensitive skin.

The formula also contains a high concentration of glycerin, which helps attract and retain moisture, as well as ectoin, which supports the skin barrier and provides long-lasting hydration.

PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum helps support the natural renewal process of the lips, gradually improving their overall appearance and texture.

The serum can be layered underneath Squalane + Amino Acids Lip Balm to gently remove dry, dead skin and deeply hydrate the lips overnight.

PLEASE NOTE
You may experience a slightly acidic taste when using this product. This is due to the exfoliating acids, which help gently renew and smooth the lips.

The Mini Icons Set features three travel-sized versions of some of The Ordinary’s most-loved formulas, making it ideal for skincare on the go. The set also includes reusable cotton pads to support the application of the Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner.

Rice Lipids + Ectoin Microemulsion is an ultra-lightweight face cream that provides up to 24 hours of soothing hydration, leaving the skin looking radiant and beautifully moisturised. It delivers the hydrating benefits of a richer cream in a lightweight texture.*

WHAT IT DOES
Optimising the skin’s moisture levels requires a combination of both oil- and water-loving ingredients. Rice Lipids, a lipid extract derived from whole rice, helps retain moisture in the skin, while Jojoba Oil provides rich emollient care and helps reduce moisture loss.

Ectoin, an amino acid derivative, is combined with a blend of natural moisturising factors (NMF) that have a high affinity for water molecules. This helps increase the skin’s water content and provides intense, long-lasting hydration.

The face cream delivers intense, soothing hydration from the first use, helps reduce the appearance of redness and supports the skin’s natural barrier. The formula is ideal for dry and sensitive skin.

Its micro-fluidised texture creates an ultra-lightweight emulsion that absorbs instantly without leaving a greasy feeling.
