The Ordinary PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum
PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum is a gentle chemical exfoliant for the lips formulated with 5% gluconolactone and 1.5% alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to help smooth and hydrate the lips.
WHAT IT DOES
Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that helps dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells. Due to their larger molecular size, PHAs work primarily on the surface of the skin, providing gentle exfoliation and making them suitable for sensitive skin.
The formula also contains a high concentration of glycerin, which helps attract and retain moisture, as well as ectoin, which supports the skin barrier and provides long-lasting hydration.
PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum helps support the natural renewal process of the lips, gradually improving their overall appearance and texture.
The serum can be layered underneath Squalane + Amino Acids Lip Balm to gently remove dry, dead skin and deeply hydrate the lips overnight.

You may experience a slightly acidic taste when using this product. This is due to the exfoliating acids, which help gently renew and smooth the lips.
