In Pokémon Pokopia, you take on the role of Ditto, a Transform Pokémon who has awakened from a long sleep and transformed into a human.
Ditto meets the strange Professor Tangrowth, who has been living all alone in a place where humans and Pokémon once lived together. When Ditto sees the withered grass and trees, he decides to rebuild the area by making things and learning moves from other Pokémon, creating a utopia that everyone can live in.
Building the Ideal Area
As Ditto, you can learn moves from the Pokémon you meet and help create habitats where different Pokémon will appear. The moves you learn can also be used for other purposes, such as smashing walls with Rock Smash, creating more greenery with Leafage, going from mountain to mountain in a single jump with Glide, or traveling across water with Surf.
You can also interact with the Pokémon you encounter, such as swinging Bulbasaur's vines, having Charmander light a fire, or teaming up with a bunch of Pokémon to build homes for them.
Pokémon may also approach you with requests to make their surroundings a more pleasant place to live. Some will even have important requests that are linked to solving larger problems. Fulfilling these requests will lead to the development of the entire area.
You can also look forward to changing your appearance with different hairstyles or clothes, and crafting items or furniture to make your surroundings more personal. In addition, up to four players can play together.
Mystical Pokémon
In addition to Professor Tangrowth, you will encounter other mysterious Pokémon.
• Peakychu: A pale Pikachu with floppy ears whose fur is a mysterious color.
