TerraMaster D4-320U 4-Bay DAS Drive Enclosure

The TerraMaster D4-320U provides four bays for expanding storage without replacing existing server, workstation or NAS hardware. It supports 3.5" SATA HDDs, 2.5" HDDs and 2.5" SSDs, with a maximum combined capacity of up to 96 TB. This makes it suitable for backups, archives, multimedia libraries and other applications requiring additional storage.

A USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface provides bandwidth of up to 10 Gb/s. With four drives installed, read and write speeds can reach up to 1016 MB/s, while a single SSD can achieve transfer speeds of up to 560 MB/s. The enclosure supports Plug & Play operation and is compatible with USB 3.0, USB 3.1, USB 3.2, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 connections.

D4-320U is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux as well as Proxmox, TrueNAS and Unraid. It can also be connected to TerraMaster NAS systems running TOS 5.1 or later, providing additional storage capacity through a USB connection. Both USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables are included for flexible integration with different systems.

Three fans with intelligent temperature control regulate cooling according to operating conditions. The drive sleep function reduces power consumption during periods of inactivity, while the approximately 26.7 dB(A) noise level allows the enclosure to be used in office and other working environments. With a depth of only 241 mm, the D4-320U can also be installed where available space is limited.
