TerraMaster D2-320 2-Bay DAS Drive Enclosure

The TerraMaster D2-320 provides two drive bays for expanding desktop or workstation storage with 3.5" HDDs, 2.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs. With support for up to 44 TB of total capacity, it can accommodate large collections of photos, videos, backups and other files. The enclosure supports RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD and Single Disk configurations, allowing the available storage and level of redundancy to be adapted to the intended application.

Its USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C interface offers bandwidth of up to 10 Gb/s and is compatible with systems supporting USB 3.0, USB 3.1, USB 3.2, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4. When equipped with two SSDs in RAID 0, it can achieve read speeds of up to 1075 MB/s and write speeds of up to 956 MB/s, depending on the installed drives and system configuration.

An intelligent fan automatically adjusts its speed according to drive temperature and workload. The enclosure is also designed to reduce vibration and improve airflow, with a noise level of approximately 23.8 dB(A) under full load. Smart disk sleep helps reduce power consumption when the storage is not being used, while surge protection provides additional protection for the enclosure and installed drives.

The Push-Lock system allows drives to be installed or replaced without complicated procedures. Measuring 222 × 119 × 154 mm and weighing 1.3 kg, the D2-320 can be used on a desk or as part of a compact home data center. It can also expand the storage capacity of compatible TerraMaster NAS systems running TOS 5.1 or later.
