Ancel L5000 PRO Automotive Diagnostic Leak Detector
The ANCEL L5000 PRO is a diagnostic leak detector for automotive systems that uses air and smoke to locate leaks. It supports low-pressure testing at 0.5 psi, high-pressure testing at 20 psi and adjustable pressure from 0.5–20 psi. The device can perform air, smoke, pressure decay and vacuum leak tests, making it suitable for systems such as EVAP, air intake, exhaust, intercooler, oil and water circuits. An LCD display and four-button control panel provide straightforward operation, while the built-in self-test function assists with troubleshooting. The unit is designed for 12 V vehicle electrical systems and delivers a flow rate below 8 l/min.
Three pressure modes are available: 0.5 psi low pressure, 20 psi high pressure and a linear mode with adjustable pressure from 0.5–20 psi. The L5000 PRO also supports air leak testing, smoke leak testing, pressure decay testing and vacuum leak testing. Pressure resolution is 0.001 of the selected unit, while flow resolution is 0.01 l/min.
Operation is controlled through an LCD display and four function buttons. A built-in self-test function can be used to check the device when an operating problem occurs. The unit connects to a 12 V automotive battery and has a flow rate below 8 l/min.
The 2.5 m power cable and 2.5 m smoke hose provide flexibility when working around a vehicle. The included adapters, cones, plugs, EVAP adapter and intake bladder allow the tester to be configured for different vehicle systems and connection points.
