The Deltaco e-Charge EV-1215 charging cable fits all vehicles with a Type2 socket for those who want to charge via a public charger or their own dedicated charging box at home with Type2 socket so-called mode 3 charging. Charging power up to 7.6KW.

Silver-plated connections guarantee good contact and long service life. Length 5m. Equipped with dust cover to protect against dust, dirt and moisture during storage.

The cable is made of a TPE material that provides good resistance to oil, abrasion and UV light. The cable is also flexible in cold. Type2 outlets are now EU standard, cars from the manufacturers eg. AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo all use Type2 outlets.

Charging of the car is monitored by a two-way communication between the car and the charger. When the cable is plugged into the car, a self-test is performed which ensures that the cable is properly connected and that the car is ready to receive power, before charging starts and the cable is voltage-locked mechanically, this protects against both theft and unauthorized use during charging.

After charging, unlock the car so that the mechanical lock opens and take out the charging cable on the side of the car first so that it is disconnected by the charger.
