Alta Labs S24-PoE is a rack mount switch with 24 10/100/1000 ports, 16 of which support PoE . The S24-PoE is equipped with 2 SFP ports . The Alta Labs switches feature Bluetooth for seamless configuration via the Alta Labs mobile app. The management interface is easily accessible via the mobile app or web browser.
Power Over Ethernet
Alta Labs switches offer PoE connectivity with multiple ports capable of delivering up to 30 watts of power per port. The switches support 802.3at PoE and are backward compatible with 802.3af PoE. The S24-PoE offers 16 PoE ports with a PoE budget of up to 240 W. Power Alta Labs access points and other devices that support 802.3at or 802.3af standards.
Configuration via Bluetooth, management from app or browser
Alta Labs switches feature Bluetooth, which allows for seamless configuration via the Alta Labs mobile app. Monitor and manage your networks from the convenience of your mobile device. The management interface is easily accessible via the mobile app or web browser. Register an Alta Labs account using just your name, email address and password, or use Google authentication.
Scalable Cloud-based management
Alta Labs presents an easy-to-use cloud-based interface for managing access points and switches. The design is based on the ability to scale effectively using a global architecture for uninterrupted availability. With a worldwide network, the Alta Labs cloud guarantees efficient geographic connectivity through its redundant structure. It can easily and quickly manage different locations, adding or removing or renaming them. It also enables efficient navigation between locations through a drop-down selection menu.
Limiting the speed of outgoing and incoming calls
The switches offer an inbound and outbound traffic limiting feature. This allows incoming and outgoing traffic to be limited to a portion of the available bandwidth per connection. For example, a hotel may want to provide guests with free 5 Mbps Internet connections, but require guests to pay an additional fee for 100 Mbps speeds. Upload speeds from guests' devices may also be limited.
Configurable dashboard
Customize the dashboard as you like, presenting data that is important to you, such as IP Address, load, number of devices, MAC address, firmware version, WiFi network color and current status information. You can also sort this data by various criteria.
Device cards
By clicking on the device icon, you can easily view connection information and configure access points or connections from clients.
Location management
Alta Labs' Location Manager provides an overview of all locations, displays the number of devices and shows when updates are needed. New locations can be added, and current locations can be duplicated or deleted. Use the search option to look for a specific location.
