This starter set of 3 essential colours from the Daler-Rowney Aquafine Watercolour Inks range also includes a free empty, refillable, FW Artist's Marker. Contains: Cadmium Yellow Hue, Cadmium Red Hue, and Ultramarine Blue Dark + 1 FW Empty Marker. Daler-Rowney Aquafine Watercolour Inks are pigment-based, water-soluble inks with a high degree of lightfastness and versatility. Aquafine Watercolour Inks can be used straight out of the bottle using the dropper provided, allowing experimentation or exact amounts to be added to a palette. They can also be applied using traditional brushes, but also work well through airbrushes, technical pens, and paint markers making them ideal for producing technical illustrations and finely worked drawings. All colours use the same pigments as Aquafine watercolour and Aquafine Gouache making them perfect for intermixability and mixed media techniques. They dry to the same satin finish to allow them to be used in perfect harmony. They can be diluted to create subtle tones whilst remaining bright and vivid over time compared to dye-based inks which will quickly fade.
