Makita DRT52Z Battery Trimmer Brushless (Solo)
Model DRT52 is a cordless brushless cutter powered by an 18V LXT® Li-ion battery. The collet size of the machine is 6 mm (1/4"). This cutter is equipped with lock/unlock button, soft start, LED indicator light and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT). Battery and charger sold separately.
The DRT52 trimmer is equipped with eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT). XPT is an extra protective seal inside the machine that is designed to provide improved water resistance by channeling water and dust away from the main components of the tool.
The router has a lock/unlock button that minimizes the risk of unexpected machine start-up. The DRT52 has an LED light that lights up to indicate that the machine is unlocked and in standby mode. To improve the user experience, the tool has a soft start function that makes the machine start smoothly.
